Dreams in the Making
It is the prime goal of the Dekeyser&Friends Foundation to inspire young people to find their way and to follow their dreams, thereby helping them to become change makers who spread inspiration in their own communities. During the projects Fellows are therefore not only involved in the project tasks in order to learn from their project Friend and co-Fellows but also take part in various additional activities in order to stimulate inspiration. A crucial element regarding this goal is the Dream Lab and the development of individual DreamPlans – personal projects our Fellows want to implement after returning home. To read more about the process of developing a DreamPlan, please have a look at our Dream Lab site.
Once our Fellows return back home, they get engaged in a number of activities – be it the implementation of their DreamPlan, volunteer activities with other organizations and initiatives or fulltime jobs in businesses, governments and NGOs. Whichever way they choose, they can profit from their experiences and networks built during their project. After the end of a project, Dekeyser&Friends supports former Fellows on their way to become DreamMakers via several programs, especially the DreamAid program, which offers financial support for DreamPlans, but also the marketing of products produced by Fellows as well as continued networking and mentoring support.
