DeluxeKidz e.V. SCHOOL WORKSHOP

DELUXE KIDZ IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 2013 BY SAMY DELUXE.

Together with our friend Samy Sorge, better known as Samy Deluxe, Dekeyser&Friends is supporting a DeluxeKidz e.V. three-day summer school workshop in Germany in 2017.

Over three hundred Northern German students from a range of backgrounds will be given the chance to let off steam in a creative way at the end of the school year by creating and performing in a hip-hop-themed showcase of dance, music, and art. There will be additional workshops on videography and production led by experienced cameramen and a talent manager. Participating students will also help organize the workshop, plan and produce the program, and document the closing event.

The aim of this workshop is to inspire creativity and open-mindedness in young people using Samy’s connection to hip hop culture. In addition to creative workshops, the children will learn about team-building, taking responsibility, their strengths and weaknesses, how to deal with criticism and how to offer constructive criticism.

DeluxeKidz is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 by Samy Deluxe, one of Germany’s most successful hip hop artists. Samy is known for his political lyrics and his social engagement in his community, where he continues to work on a number of youth-focused projects. DeluxeKidz isn’t just part of hip hop culture, it’s part of a lifestyle guided by hip hop’s values of tolerance, respect and openness.
