ENGAGE IN CONSERVATION CHALLENGE

HAMBUR, GERMANY

January–March
2012

Project Friend Dr. Jane Goodall and other experts worked with twelve international Fellows with a passion for biodiversity combined fieldwork and online elements to develop a game that doubled as a youth engagement project. The aim of the Engage in Conservation Challenge was to help educate young people in key conservation issues and to inspire them to advocate for biodiversity. After two months in Hamburg, the Fellows had ten months to implement their own version of the project—for example in collaboration with Dr. Goodall’s Root & Shoots program—with the support of the Dekeyser&Friends Foundation.
